Refund Policy
- Donations will be refunded if the transaction took place within the last 2 days.
- Transaction charges, as per the payment gateway, will be deducted.
- Accidental donors are eligible for a refund, after the deduction of transaction charges.
- Donations made for any specific cause are not eligible for a refund.
We will respond within 7 working days from the date of receiving the complaint from the donor, and we will refund within 7 to 14 working days.
The Following Donations Cannot Be Refunded
- When a refund is claimed after 2 days of making a donation.
- Recurring donations cannot be refunded from our end. You need to cancel the transaction via the selected payment method.
We reserve the right to decline any refund that does not meet the above conditions at our sole prudence.
Exceptional Refund Scenarios
In addition to the above, HKM Charitable Foundation may issue refunds for the following "exceptional" scenarios: an erroneous donation, a donation identified as fraudulent or initiated using an unauthorised instrument, or where the donor would like to cancel his or her donation.
Under such scenarios, HKM Charitable Foundation will respond to the donor within 7 working days of receiving a valid request for refund. The timely refund of the donation will depend upon the type of credit card or banking instrument used during the transaction.
The donor will have to send HKM Charitable Foundation a written request for a refund within 2 days of making the donation to HKM Charitable Foundation's official address (Sy. No. 172, Goldenmile Road, Kokapet, Narsingi) or by email to info@hkmcf.org, along with the following documents:
- Proof of the deduction of the donation amount.
- In cases where the donation receipt has already been issued, the donor must return the original receipt to HKM Charitable Foundation at its office address.
If the tax exemption certificate has already been issued for a donation, the donor shall not be entitled to claim a refund of that donation. However, in case of a valid refund request due to any error on HKM Charitable Foundation's part, HKM Charitable Foundation will refund the donation and bear the costs of the same.
International donations will require a minimum of 10 working days for processing.
